At home in Maryland

We have a recent addition to our family. She is a black cat and her name is Sombra (Spanish for shadow). We got her from the Howard County Animal Shelter. She had been there almost 2 1/2 months and many of the volunteers feared she would not find a home. My friend Karen, one of the volunteers, told me about Sombra (then named Mizzie). The next day I went to the shelter and immediately decided she would fit very well into the Altner household.
